On May 29, 2009, EMTA hosted a panel on Ecuador’s Tender Offer at EMTA’s offices in NYC. The purpose of the panel was to discuss Ecuador’s Tender Offer from the economic, policy and legal perspectives, as well as a rating agency’s views on recent sovereign restructurings.
Panelists included representatives from the following firms: Joe Kogan (Barclays Capital), Timothy B. DeSieno (Bingham McCutchen LLP), Erich Arispe (Fitch Ratings), Hans Humes (Greylock Capital Management) and Siobhan Morden (RBS Global Banking & Markets).
Representatives from Ecuador and its financial and legal advisors were invited but declined to participate.
