Current Prospects for the EM Corporate Bond Market

Topics will include:
·         What has the market really learned from the global credit crisis and what are the ramifications for EM corporate debt?
·         Is there further room for a rally in the EM corporate bond arena or do current conditions indicate a bubble in the making?
·         How has the current crisis transformed both buy-side and sell-side market participants, and how will these changes likely impact the future course of the EM debt market?
·         What is the outlook for new issuance among the high and speculative grade sectors; and what are the prospects for a revival of perpetual bonds?
·         How should agency-assigned ratings be used?   Has the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac situation altered the notion of quasi-sovereigns?

Speakers will include:
David Spegel (ING Financial Markets) – Moderator

Anne Milne (Deutsche Bank)
Warren J. Mar (JPMorgan)
Katherine Renfrew (TIAA-CREF)
